Book your tickets for Fife’s first outdoor health and wellbeing day

Join Holistic Scotland Magazine at The Ecology Centre in Kinghorn for Fife’s very first outdoor health and wellbeing day – in association with Mind & Body Studio.

The Ecology Centre will throw open its doors between 10am and 3pm on Saturday, August 17 for a day filled with talks, treatments and workshops to help you feel healthier, energised and more in tune with your inner being and the wider world.

Highlights will include a foodie area dedicated to the latest plant-based food and drinks, and taster classes with some of Fife’s top fitness experts, specialising in yoga, Nia, Pilates, PiYo and strength training, as well as plenty of stalls and activities, including a Women’s Circle, Mindful Walks and Shamanic Drumming.

Holistic Scotland Magazine will debut its new Herbal Tea Tent and Chill Out Zone, where you’ll be able to grab a free herbal tea, cold infusion or alt-gin virgin drink in the Botanicals Bar and enjoy a sound healing session or guided meditation delivered by Positive Change Yoga.

The tent is being sponsored by Health Food & More, whose medical herbalist, Wendy Kelly, will be on-hand to share her expertise on all aspects of herbal medicine and recommend different tea blends for different problems and ailments.

It will also host Fife’s first Face Yoga workshop in association with Face Yoga Scotland founder Karen Gider, who helps women exercise their way to younger-looking skin through her unique series of exercises which tighten and tone the facial muscles.

So come and join us for a day of health and wellbeing in a beautiful location on the banks of Kinghorn Loch!

Other local businesses supporting and getting involved in the event include the Roasting Project in Burntisland, Dunfermline’s Juiceology, Hygge Hut in Aberdour, Markinch-based Leaf Natural Food Wraps, The Baker’s Field in Kirkcaldy and many more.

Each ticket sold will help to raise money to support The Ecology Centre and its important conservation, volunteering and education programmes – with every penny going directly back into the charity.
